Campion Insurance formally acquired Future following Central Bank of Ireland approval. Future has a presence in both Galway city and in Claremorris, Co Mayo.
The merger will allow Future customers in Galway and Mayo to avail of the full range of insurance products offered by Campion Insurance while maintaining the same level of local expertise in customer service.
Founded in 1984, Campion Insurance has a presence in 12 locations across Ireland and employs over 180 people.
It offers personal, business and financial insurance products and its range includes car, home, van, farm and business insurance as well a full suite of financial services products including investments, mortgages, pensions, protection and savings.
The chief executive of Campion Insurance, Jim Campion, said the rebrand of Future marks an exciting development for Campion Insurance as it continues to expand its footprint across the country.
“The company is entering two dynamic local markets in the West of Ireland while fulfilling our mission to harness the very best of local talent and expertise in these areas,” Mr Campion said.
“The team at Future has been trusted by its customers for many years now and we are looking forward to seeing this experience enhanced in the coming years under Campion Insurance,” he said.
“Our objective is to give our customers, old and new, a wide range of competitive products that only a nationwide brokerage can provide. Bringing this value and expertise under one brand will allow us to deliver direct benefit to our customers,” he added.
