Grant Sweetnam

Grant  Sweetnam is a former Special Adviser to the Minister for Finance and the Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform.

His main role was to advise the Minister on key public and economic policy and political issues and he worked closely with people at the highest level of Government. He also managed key stakeholder relationships with Government Ministers, adviser, senior civil servants, TDs and Senators, representative bodies and businesses.

Working in the two pivotal Government Departments that are fundamental to functioning of Government and the State, he holds  experience in a wide range of public and economic policy areas from housing and public capital investment to taxation and banking. 

Grant also was Economic Policy Adviser for the Fianna Fáil party and was a key part of the policy team for the 2020 General Election.
