Online food and grocery delivery company, whatsfordinner.ie, has waived click and collect fees for restaurants and grocery outlets using their app.
Founded in 2003, Whatsfordinner.ie is a Galway based business with reach across thirteen locations in Ireland.
The company said it introduced this initiative to help businesses in Ireland that are struggling with reaching their customer base amid the level 5 lockdown restrictions.
Whatsfordinner.ie works with both the both independent restaurants and well-known chains like Eddie Rockets, Burger King, and Subway as well as grocery retailers and convenience stores such as Spar, Londis and Centra.
John Shields, CEO of Whatsfordinner.ie, said that offering a free click and collect service will be a major boost to small businesses.
“Businesses will be able to reach new customers and grow their footprint in their locality and beyond.
“At whatsfordinner.ie we are continuously reviewing and looking at new ways we can enhance our partners connectivity to their customers and this is another initiative we are proud to spearhead.
“We are committed to supporting restaurants and grocery retailers and the thousands of people who rely on them for work during this difficult time,” he said.
